- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Ok, so I thought Dr. Hammond was a good dentist. My children and I went to the younger Dr. Hammond. He is not good with children. Not only that, but any cavity that he filled in continued to decay underneath the filling or silver cap. After going two new dentists, one is a children's dentist and the other adult...I have found that my son's (existing and filled in) cavities continued to decay to the point it will affect him for the rest of his life. It went into his nerve. The new dentist is having to redo all the fillings Dr. Hammond did on my son, which was about 5. My son doesn't have any new cavities either. Myself, I only had one existing one and my new dentist said that cavities usually do continue to decay even after having been filled BUT that the amount I had was due to the previous dentist not getting all the old cavity out before filling the tooth. Mine was so bad the dentist had to go into my nerve. DO NOT LET DR. HAMMOND FIX YOUR CAVITIES. I have heard good things about the older Dr. Hammond.August 18, 2017by A Google User
