  Hysterectomy done in 07. At the same time a bladder sling was attached by my urologist. After a few weeks I began feeling poorly. First it began as blisters on the back of my throat, My family practioner told me it was an allergy, I disagreed. I slowly began feeling sick, I thought my body was not accepting the sling and I wanted it removed.My urologist assured me it was not the sling, he asked if Dr.Boren had disclosed to me that she had nicked my bowel, she had not. My lungs were now infected. I began to smell sick and very weak, I told a friend that I felt as thought I was dying. In my ignorance I didn't know the seriousness of it.The sickness traveled through my entire body. My vagina became so swollen and enflamed I cold hardly walk or sit.I was extremely frightened by then! When having my teeth cleaned and still feeling horrible, the hygienist told me I was very sick, she too could smell what I was smelling.I then went to one of the clinics to be seen. The female Dr. asked me if I was in a lot of pain and preformed a vaginal culture.I was notified within hours that it was one of the prevotella bacterias. I was furious, refused to see Boren, I was treated by her colleague, when asked what the bacteria was from, she said fecal matter. I then realized the seriousness of what my urologist had asked me. It was several weeks on powerful antibiotics before I was feeling better. Because of non disclosure on a very serious matter I will never see her again.
